How it works
Sound frequencies — bass, mid, and treble — captured from a mic or line-in inhabit different sections of the display.
Etched acrylic, responsive LEDs, and custom DSP combine into compositions that range from subtle and ambient to hypnotic and captivating.
Why it exists
Sonoform is designed to augment active listening to music: it gives any space a visual object of focus for immersion, and with it, attention restoration.
Current work explores form factors for personal spaces (the home) and shared ones (music venues).
